SJR Worksop show fight to record comeback win
SJR Worksop came from behind to record vicory at RHP
SJR Worksop battled hard and came from behind to record a 3-2 win at RHP.

Goals from Cal Lytham, Matty Templeton and Kyle Wesley wrapped up the points as SJR bounced back from last week’s disappointing result, and they responded with a hard-fought three points and an excellent display of character.
The home side started brightly, but SJR looked solid in the early stages despite the difficult conditions. Clear-cut chances were limited until RHP found space on the edge of the box and fired into the near corner to take the lead.
SJR responded well, growing into the game and looking increasingly dangerous going forward. After a controversial disallowed goal and a huge chance narrowly missed, the equaliser finally arrived when Lytham was played through one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly slotted home.
RHP came out strongly after the break and regained the lead from the penalty spot, leaving SJR with another uphill battle. However, the visitors refused to give in, creating chance after chance and being denied by some excellent goalkeeping.
The pressure eventually told when Aaron Redfearn broke into the box and squared the ball for Templeton to guide home the equaliser.
With momentum firmly on their side, SJR continued to push for the winner, and it soon arrived. Following a corner, Wesley picked up the loose ball and fired into the roof of the net to complete the turnaround and put SJR 3–2 ahead.
The final 15 minutes saw RHP push for a late equaliser, but SJR stood firm defensively while remaining dangerous on the counter-attack to see out a thoroughly deserved victory.
