Spectacular five-day festive tree celebration to take place in Worksop

Community groups, schools, businesses and others around Worksop are invited to get involved in one of the town's loveliest Christmas events.

Once again, the Worksop Community Christmas Tree Festival will take place in the stunning surroundings of Worksop Priory Church, and everyone can be a part of the spectacular festive showcase.

The five days of celebration are made all the more special with the medieval architecture of the Priory Church as a magical backdrop.

Running from Wednesday, December 2 to Sunday, December 6, the festival will be open daily from 10am to 4pm, with a late-night opening until 7.30pm on Thursday, December 3.

This year’s festival will feature dozens of uniquely decorated Christmas trees, each created by local businesses, community groups, schools, and charities.

Visitors are invited to wander among the displays, enjoy the atmosphere and refreshments, and support participating organisations.

Any new groups who haven't previously entered a tree are urged to get involved, and festival organisers are keen to include more local musical groups.

Special events during the festival include the following, with more bookings to be posted nearer the time;
