Arrest at Worksop home of elderly man where cash safe was burgled
A suspect was arrested at a Worksop house within hours of reportedly burgling that same address.
Police were initially notified about a break-in at the home of an elderly man in the Worksop area.
Pieces of jewellery and a safe containing around £2,000 in cash were among the items reported missing.
The break-in took place at some point during the early hours of October 18, before being discovered and reported.

Officers were then patrolling Worksop later that same day when they received word the suspect had returned to the house.
That report came in just after midday, with response officers making their way to the address and finding a man sitting on a chair inside.
The 46-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary and possessing Class A drugs.
Sergeant Keith Parkes, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This burglary has understandably caused great upset to the family of the vulnerable man targeted.
"A safe containing thousands of pounds in cash was among the items taken during this overnight break-in.
"Having identified a suspect in this incident, we quickly arrested him when we received word the man had returned to the same house later that day.
"As I say, burglary is a horribly invasive and distressing offence, so we're pleased to have made an arrest in this instance."
