Worsop Town progress on in Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup
Worksop Town cruised through to the next round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup with a 4-0 away victory against Emley AFC at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground.
Emley started the better of the two sides as Nathan Stephenson saw his shot blocked after a good spell from the Pewits.

But Worksop would take the lead on the 22nd minute as Sam Essien set up Mason O’Malley who fired into the back of the net for his first goal of the season.
The hosts had chances to level it up over the next 15 minutes with Stephenson missing a few chances from good crosses into the box.
The Tigers doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time as a short-corner found Lewis Whitham who fired in from the edge of the box.
Just after the break, O’Malley played an excellent ball into the box which was flicked as far as Ryan Viggars who got on the scoresheet for the Tigers.
It was a quiet second half with the Tigers retaining the ball well and reducing Emley to half chances.
Viggars almost netted a brace as O’Malley delivered a ball to the back post, but the striker put his header wide from close range.
Emley nearly got a consolation goal as Rinor Ejupi rounded the keeper but went too far wide and the ball was cleared behind for a corner.
Viggars added a fourth on the night as a corner was cleared off the line but only as far as the Tigers striker who bundled the ball into the back of the net.
Two goals in either half meant that the Tigers advanced to the Quarter-Finals of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
