Worksop: Woman pleads guilty to stealing bottle of wine

Danielle Kirk, 25, of Hardwick Road West, Worksop, took the item from a Sainsbury’s store in the town, while drunk.

Defending, Mr David Verity said: “She has had a lot of problems, including being assaulted by her former partner.”

“She had been off drink for a while but then went out and consumed a lot of alcohol.”

Kirk was given a nine-month community order and ordered to attend the Thinking Skills course and 10 sessions of the Alcohol Awareness.

She was also ordered to pay £5.40 compensation and a £60 victim surcharge.
