Win! Tickets to see Sleeping Beauty show

JANUARY can be a tough month but here’s something to help those post-Christmas blues with this week’s fantastic competition to see Sleeping Beauty in Nottingham.

We have teamed up with the Theatre Royal to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a family ticket to see the show on Tuesday 3rd January.

Joe Pasquale and Ceri Dupree head a star cast for this year’s festive spectacular Sleeping Beauty.

Comedian and television presenter Joe will play Muddles in this year’s pantomime, while the wonderfully outrageous Ceri Dupree will take on the role of Queen Passionella.

Stage and television actress Lucy Evans, best known for her role as Lauren Wilson in Coronation Street, will play the role of Princess Beauty.

Following on from the success of the 3D special effects in Aladdin in 2010, this year’s Theatre Royal pantomime will once again feature some amazing 3D sequences, taking the enchanted forest to another dimension.

Qdos Pantomimes managing director and executive show producer Michael Harrison said: “We are thrilled that Joe Pasquale, who has smashed pantomime box office records wherever he has performed, will be leading the cast of the Theatre Royal’s pantomime.”

“Joe’s high-energy comedy combined with Ceri’s kaleidoscopic wardrobe, a superb cast and brand-new 3D special effects mean that no one will dare fall asleep during this production of Sleeping Beauty!”

Added theatre director of sales, marketing and development Jonathan Saville: “The annual pantomime provides a wonderful opporunity for the whole family to enjoy magical festive fun with the East Midlands’ biggest Christmas show, whether they are two or 102 years old.”

“We are delighted to have the brilliant Joe Pasquale returning to Nottingham to lead the cast and I’m sure it will prove to be our best pantomime yet.”

Tickets for the show, which runs until Sunday 15th January, are priced £13-£23.50 and can be purchased by visiting www.trch.co.uk or by calling 0115 989 5555.
