Tuxford: Funding boost for hard-working Andreas
Former Tuxford Academy student Andreas Georgiou has received a cheque for £500 towards the cost of a new shelter for Post 16 students at Tuxford Academy.
Andreas won the money when he gained the Retford Lions Young Ambassador Award for his community work which included supporting the academy’s after school club The Hub.
The cheque was officially presented by club president Martin Allan, who praised Andreas for his dedication and hard work in the community.
