Alan Bateman was last in contact with his family on Wednesday 21st May.

He is believed to be vulnerable and so police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Alan, who is a keen walker and bird watcher, is thought to have left his home on foot as he does not currently have access to a vehicle.

He is described as white, 5’10”, of proportionate build with thinning grey hair and facial stubble. He generally wears walking clothes and boots and he may also be carrying a rucksack.

Extensive enquiries have been conducted to help trace Alan.
