Few tickets left for dazzling Worksop show that raised £185,000 in nine years
Next week, after 10 years of unforgettable performances, show-stopping celebrity support and extraordinary fundraising, Worksop’s Got Talent will take its final bow, with just a few tickets left for the spectacular finale on Friday, November 6, at North Notts Arena.
Audiences can expect the unexpected for this unmissable final event, said organiser James Clarke.
For the last decade, Worksop’s Got Talent has given local performers the chance to shine, brought the community together and proved that you don’t need to live in a big city to make a big impression.
Now, after nine award-winning and record-breaking events, 7,000 tickets sold and more than £185,000 raised for research into inherited sight loss, the much-loved talent show is preparing for its biggest and most emotional night yet.

This year’s event will raise funds for Cure Usher.
Just a few tickets remain, offering a last opportunity to be part of this inclusive event.
Since launching in 2016, the show has grown from a local talent competition into an award-winning event attracting 700 attendees each year.
Singers, dancers, gymnasts, musicians, comedians and performers of all kinds have taken to the stage, earning standing ovations, creating lasting memories and, for some, doors have opened to opportunities such as appearing on ITV’s ‘The Voice UK’.

Behind it all is organiser James Clarke, whose personal experience of inherited sight loss has helped shape the event’s charitable mission.
Following his diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa and Usher Syndrome in 2015, James channelled his energy into raising awareness and funds for sight loss charities, helping Worksop’s Got Talent raise more than £185,000 to date since 2016.
His fundraising efforts have earned national recognition, including being named BBC Fundraiser of the Year in 2023 and receiving a nomination for a Pride of Britain award in 2024. He has also attended ceremonies at Buckingham Palace and Downing Street.
The show’s impact has reached well beyond the local stage.

Over the years, household names have lent their support, in-person and virtually, including Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, James Corden, Lorraine Kelly, Kym Marsh and Boris Johnson.
That backing has helped put Worksop firmly on the map – but the real stars have always been the people stepping into the spotlight.
Next week’s epic finale will showcase 12 finalists representing an exciting mix of talent, including singers, comedians, gymnastics troupe, a drummer, dancers and the show’s first-ever ventriloquist, alongside many other performers.
On the judging panel this year are ‘Coronation Street’ actor Kyran Bowes, professional footballer Ella Rutherford, ‘Love Island’ personality, Tommy
Murphy and ‘This Morning’ presenter, Jordon Cox.
Their presence adds further star quality to this celebration of everyone who has performed, volunteered, supported, donated and bought a ticket over the past 10 years.
James Clarke said: “When I launched Worksop’s Got Talent in 2016, I could never have imagined how much it would grow or how much we would achieve together.
"Raising more than £185,000 for charity is something I’m incredibly proud of, but the people are what have made this show so special – the performers who have taken a chance on themselves, the volunteers who have worked behind the scenes and the audiences who supported us year after year.
"Bringing it all to an end is going to be emotional, but we want to finish on a high and make this final show the best one yet. We’re hoping to pass the £200,000
fundraising milestone, and I’d love as many people as possible to join us for one last, unforgettable night.”
