Reader’s Letter: Milk churn memories

With regards to the Those Were The Days article on 14th March, Milk from the Churn, the young girl delivering milk is that of my late mother who was born in 1910.

She married my father Albert Chapman (bricklayer) in 1930 and had 11 children. I am the second eldest.

They were longtime residents of Vessey Road in Worksop and she died in 1996, aged 86.
