Misson: Man air-lifted to hospital after breaking leg in ladder fall

A 64-year old man was air-lifted to hospital with a broken leg after falling from a ladder

The incident, which occurred on Friday, 6th June, saw the man fall after the ladder slipped from underneath him.

The nearest available air ambulance, the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland service, attended the scene and treated the man with advanced pain relief and anti-sickness medication.

His leg was then splinted before he was flown to Northern General Hospital in Sheffield for further treatment.
