Garden bungalow plans revealed
Up to 14 new retirement bungalows could be built in the gardens of existing homes after an application was submitted to planners.
The 0.44-hectare site at the back of 66, 68 and number 70 Clipstone Road West in Forest Town is to be considered in the coming months.
The new properties would also back on to some of the homes on Stanley Road.

If given the go-ahead, it is proposed that an electrically-operated gate would be built for access to the site from a private road, off Clipstone Road West.
A previous application to build 11 homes on the site was passed by planners at Mansfield district Council in 2010, but failed to come to fruition.
A statement from applicants Hymas Homes reads: “It is considered that there is a need for this type of development close to the local shops and amenities.”
