Gainsborough: Reading challenge has been launched at college
The CEO of Lincoln College Group, Gary Headland, has launched the Six Book Challenge at Gainsborough College library.
The Six Book Challenge is a national scheme, run by the Reading Agency, to help improve confidence and encourage individuals to read and vary their reading material.
Students who take part are challenged to read six items and keep a reading diary to record their thoughts about what they have read.
This year the student who makes the greatest contribution to the challenge will be awarded with a trophy which has been produced by the Carpentry and Joinery tutor.
