Festival pirate stolen

A distraught Bircotes toddler is appealing for witnesses after his pirate scarecrow was stolen from this year’s Ranskill and Torworth Scarecrow Festival.

Daniel Joyce, 2, had his creation stolen from the village on Monday 10th June.

Mum Charlotte said: “He is really upset about it. Anyone who knows where it has gone please contact the Guardian.”
