Cute Kids 2013 winners

The votes have been cast and we can now announce the winners of the Dinnington Guardian Cute Kids competition.

Hundreds of readers cast their votes in our popular annual contest to see who they think should be crowned the cutest kid in 2013.

Winning the 0-18 month category was Connie-Rose Sheldon-Latham.

Proud mum Hannah Latham said she was ‘very surprised’ when she got the call telling her Connie-Rose had won.

“When I found out I nearly started crying on the phone,” she said.

“We decided to enter as we wanted to get some good photographs done. She was really good in front of the camera.”

The 19-35 month category was won by William Roberts, who is no stranger to the Cute Kids competition.

Mum Hollie Holmes said: “He has won the competition for the last two years, so this is his third win.”

“I was really surprised as I didn’t think he would win again and do a hat-trick.”

“He is very cheeky in front of the camera and always says cheese as soon as he sees a camera. Then he wants to see what they look like afterwards,” she added.

And scooping the crown in the 36 months and over category was Archie Whalley.

Mum Melanie Bache said she had thought of entering Archie into the competition in previous years, and finally decided to give it a go.

“On the day he was a bit camera shy, but after a while he started to love it and we got some really good photos,” she said.

“Some days he’s really full of it and will just sit there posing, but on the day he wasn’t very well.”

“It was such a nice surprise to find out that he had won.”
