Bassetlaw: Free talk on the history of local brewery
A free talk about the history of the Worksop & Retford Brewery is taking place at Bassetlaw Museum on Saturday, 17th May at 1.30pm.
The talk will be given by Dave Pickersgill and John Stocks, two local authors and researchers.
They have written book telling the half-forgotten story of the brewery and its effects on the sporting and cultural life of Bassetlaw.
