The championship-chasing unbeaten visitors started the game strongly with home keeper Corey Hawksworth saving well early on.

Worksop started to get more involved and a useful cross from Tom White was just too far from the strikers.

The home youngsters started to make use of right winger Davidi Galinski and a Ehys Butterworth shot was kicked off the line. Dinnington contrived to hit the home crossbar from a good way out to the relief of Hawksworth.

Hawksworth then saved on the goalline before a similar effort from Ethan Slater at the other end was also saved.

On 33 minutes Dinnington took the lead when top scorer Jordan Turner fired home.

The second period started with Samir Arrian on in place of Tom White. The game at this stage was very end to end with a Worksop shot blocked and then another from Galinski met the same fate.

Another effort from Dinnington’s Turner was well held by Hawksworth before Worksop’s second change saw Bradshaw replacing Slater on the hour mark.

Worksop then hit crossbar from a corner kick giving hopes of an equaliser.

A third change, Adefolavemi Adegbite on for Ryan Short on 65 minutes upped energy levels and Worksop had no less then three shots blocked following a corner kick

Worksop put on more pressure as Dan Gillatt put a free kick over the bar, before Dinnington hit the bar from a free kick.

The struggling Watts was then replaced by Ollie Price with fi ve minutes to go, but on 88 minutes Dinnington made the game safe when Mitch Carlton scored their second.
