Taking place on Friday 20 November 2026, at Bridge Skills Hub, the event will bring together members of the public and healthcare colleagues from Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to discuss three important areas of patient care: Martha’s Rule, sepsis awareness, and nutrition and hydration.

The event, which runs from 9.30am to 1.30pm, will feature presentations from Trust colleagues and a local family, followed by a Conversation Café where attendees can share their experiences, ask questions and discuss ideas for improvement.

Kirsty Clarke, Associate Chief Nurse at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) Trust said: “Listening to our patients, their relatives and the wider community is essential to understanding what matters most to the people who use our services.

“Events like this give us a valuable opportunity to hear different perspectives, answer questions and learn from people's experiences, while also sharing more about the work taking place across our Trust.

“We want people to feel able to share their experiences openly, knowing that their feedback can help shape and improve the care we provide.”

There will also be an opportunity to meet representatives from the Trust’s Patient Advice and Liaison Service, Patient Safety and Patient Experience teams.
