Grants for local clubs
Notts County Counci’s culture committee have made a number of awards to local clubs from its Game Changer funding stream.
Retford Gymnastics Club is one such organisation to benefit from the ‘Legacy’ money, and will be able to build an extension to their facility.
The £39,000 grant will provide a community area, toilets and changing rooms attached to the outside of the existing gym with access to the gym via a linked door.
Retford Lawn Tennis Club applied for £21,000 so they could improve their three hard courts, in order to improve the quality of coaching and sports provision for their members.
