Young defender Lewis Gibbens deserves 'a bit of luck'.

The 21-year-old has joined Worksop Town on loan twice this season, only to see him miss out on much-needed game time due to lockdowns putting the Tigers' campaign on hold.

Ex-Mansfield Town defender Gibbens arrived at Sandy Lane from National League North outfit Boston United, hoping for match action following two long-term injuries, shoulder and knee problems curtailing his last two seasons.

"He's one I wish could get a bit of luck," said Pilgrims manager Craig Elliott.

"We sent him out to get games and their season got stopped.

"It's not falling well for him. He doesn't seem to get a break at the right time."
