Season extended

Retford United’s season has been extended due to a raft of postponed fixtures.

The NCEL Football League have moved to rearrange games and elongate the season by a further week.

All of the games cancelled at the weekend due to snow will now be played on Saturday 4th May, with the Badgers making the trip to Lincoln Moorlands.

Another change to the fixtures sees the away game at Nostell Miners Welfare moving to Tuesday 30th April.

Retford were due to visit Barton Town Old Boys as the Guardian went to print on Wednesday night, but that game too fell victim to the weather.

On Saturday Badgers will hope to host Maltby Main at Cannon Park.
