A number of players have contracted an illness, with striker Nelson Oliveira set to miss the match.

Paul Williams sais: “Nelson is not ready. He is working on his fitness for the summer, but he will not be around this weekend,

“There are a couple of youth team players who may get a chance on the bench. Otherwise we will look at the people who have been ill and make a decision.

“We had a dinner on Monday night and a few of the lads could not make it because they had picked up a sickness bug. One or two are still struggling, but we will assess things.”

Andy Reid (groin), Matty Fryatt (Achilles), Daniel Pinollos (knee), David Vaughan (hamstring) and Jamie Ward (hamstring) are all missing.

Williams has also reiterated his belief that Nottingham Forest must hang on to Henri Lansbury if they are to challenge next season.

“Henri is a talented player and if we have aspirations of getting out this league next season, we will need players like him,” said Williams.

“After almost every game, we have spoken about how well Henri has played. The next thing will be that he gets linked with lots of clubs, because it is still early in the summer and we know that will happen.

“When a player is doing really well and has a year left on his contract, that is predictable. It is important to get him tied to a new deal, if we have aspirations of being in the top six.”
