Bottesford beat Scawby

JUST a couple of days before Christmas, Bottesford Brown played Scawby Blue at home in the cup.

They won three games and drew the other and as a result won 48-13.

Bottesford Brown will next meet Cherry Willingham at home in the quarter final.

Hibaldstow played Bishop Norton Yellow at home in the quarter final round and won very comfortably 65-17.

They will meet the winner of the Bottesford Brown versus Cherry Willingham match in the semi-final.

In the Southern Division, Cherry Willingham played Bishop Norton Green at home in quite a close match, but managed to win 8-2 with a very narrow aggregate score.

Middle Rasen Tupholme were at home against Reepham, three matches were quite tight and Tuphole won two of these, but the other match was won convincingly by Tupholme and gave them a good 8-2 win.

Lea played against Glentworh at home, the first two games were share, but the last two games were battles. Lea drew one after being well behind and the other they won by one shot with the last ball and as a result won 7-3.

In the Northern Division, Bottesford Green had two good matches, winning 8-2 at home to South Kelsey Red even though they only won the aggregate by one shot.
