All Blacks too strong in President’s game

The All Blacks put in a fine performance of open attacking rugby to win 34-5, while the Presidents only made in roads with occasional breakaways.

The Presidents team was a mixture of Gainsborough Veterans, Market Rasen and Scunthorpe friends and guests, captained by Wayne Sandall.

Dave Gill, and Man of the Match Daniel Chadwick were outstanding for the victors.

Gainsborough are to run two teams next year, the All Blacks in the Notts Lincs and Derby league system, and the Maori in the Lincs Merit League.

The club’s annual general meeting is to be held on 9th May and the Annual Dinner and presentation evening is on 25th May.
