Worksop: Memoir writing workshop at Worksop Library

Aspiring writers can get their creative juices flowing at a memoir writing session at Worksop Library on Saturday 13th September, from 10am until 1pm.

The workshop is organised by writers of all stages of their career.

They offer advice, writing skills and networking opportunities.

People at Worksop Library, will be able to share their own stories of Nottinghamshire life with teach other and will be given the chance to put the stories onto paper.

A team of professional writers will also show people how to structure , edit and write a story, so they can start making their own personal memoirs to take home.

Tickets to the relaxed workshop cost £6 and booking is essential as spaces can fill up quickly.

Peoples of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Nottingham Writers Studio if funded by the Arts Council and was founded in 2006.

It is a growing community of writers , who help make people’s story ideas come to life.

The aim of the group is to celebrate writing across the county.
