Worksop: Man jailed for 42 days after breaching suspended sentence

A Worksop man has been jailed for 42 days after he breached his suspended sentence order.

Andrew Cooper, 35, of Furnival Street, was given a suspended sentence by Notts Magistrates’ Court on 8th May.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard that Cooper, who pleaded guilty, breached the order eight times by not adhering to his electronic tag curfew between 8th and 17th June.

The court also heard that Cooper was out of the house for two hours and nine minutes in total and eventually took the tag off.
