Worksop: Guide Dogs charity is asking for people to spare an hour to help collect vital funds

People in Worksop are being asked if they can give any of their spare time up to help with a guide dog charity.

Guide Dogs is urging anyone who has an hour or two spare between Saturday 4th October through to Sunday 12th October to sign up and help collect funds during the organisation’s flagship fundraising and awareness week.

Collections will be taking place at Asda on Memorial Avenue on Saturday 4th October and Sunday 5th October.

If you are interested in giving a helping hand and donating an hour during Guide Dogs Week sign up at www.guidedogs.org.uk/GDW14 or text volunteer to 84555.

In the UK there are 180,000 blind and partially sighted people who find it difficult to leave home on their own and Guide Dogs aim to change this.
