Work order for local lad

A WORKSOP teenager has been ordered to do unpaid work after trying to steal alloy wheels.

Dale Adam Stanley, 19, of Spur Crescent, admitted four counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle at Worksop Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The court heard Stanley tried to steal the alloys from four different cars at Walkers in Worksop in the early hours of Friday 13th April.

David Verity, defending, said Stanley was a young man of previous good character, who had shown remorse for his actions.

Worksop Magistrates gave Stanley credit for his guilty pleas before giving him a community order for 120 hours unpaid work.
