The 10-year-old from Torksey was diagnosed with a rare form of Osteosarcoma, a children’s bone cancer, when he was eight-years-old.

The statement written on the foundation’s Facebook page read: “This is the hardest thing to write and my heart is breaking as I have to tell you all that Ethan lost his fight with cancer late last night.”

“Our hearts go out to Sam, Darren and Ben.”

“They were so very generous in sharing Ethan with everyone - their beautiful, kind, funny, courageous little boy.”

“His smile lit up the world and we are all struggling to take in this devastating news.”

“Rest in peace little man.”

“One more angel in heaven, one more star in the sky. xx.”

The Ethan Maull ‘Up Yours To Cancer’ foundation helps to raise money for the children on ward E39 at Nottingham Children’s Hospital and to ultimately to fund another Billy’s House, a house located close to the hospital where families can stay while their children are having prolonged treatment and a place that they can try to make a home from home while they are there.
