Teacher’s art exhibition
A WORKSOP art teacher has exhibited photographs of her travels around the world.
Helen Platt-Hawkins created a display showing people the culture and landscape of Kenya, the Himalayan regions, the people of Ladakh in India and urbanized China, all of which she visited over the last few years.
Helen, who taught at Ranby House Prep-School and now teaches photography and graphic design at Worksop College, said: “Travel photography allows a moment in time to be grasped for both re-examination and dissemination.”
The exhibition has been on display at Worksop Library. To learn more about Helen’s work visit www.hlnplatthawkins.co.uk.
