Schools minister to visit Tuxford Academy

Lord Hill, the parliamentary under secretary of state for schools, will meet representatives from the Diverse Academies Learning Partnership.

He is interested to see how the organisation model is working, under the leadership of executive principal Chris Pickering.

The minister and members of parliament Patrick Mercer and Mark Spencer will take a ‘learning walk’ through English classrooms.

Later on they will enjoy a question and answer session with a group of students.
