Retford: Fire crew summoned to rescue ducklings from school drain
Firefighters in Retford were called to deal with a somewhat unusual job this afternoon (Monday, 30th June) when they has to rescue some ducklings from a drain.
Five ducklings had become stuck in a drain at Oaks School on Babworth Road.
However, by the time fire crews arrived, staff had managed to free four of them, leaving the fire crew to rescue the last one and reunite it with its siblings.
