Making our presence felt across area

Don’t you just hate that feeling when you’re walking along a street and the person walking behind you is completely oblivious to the fact that they are too close, invading your space and making you feel uncomfortable?

That’s how we like to make criminals feel. We are there. We are watching.

We continue to be out on the North-East beat making our presence felt.

Last week we arrested a woman and two men on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs with the intent to supply at a house in Carnoustie. They were bailed pending further enquiries.

If you suspect someone of dealing drugs, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

As the summer holidays have started, and despite the incident in June when a 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital after excessive alcohol consumption, we have begun to see an increase in groups of young teenagers congregating and drinking alcohol around the Kilton area.

How are these youngsters getting access to alcohol? Do you know what your child is doing when they are not at home?

We have also seen an increase in off-road bikes causing a nuisance.

If you see groups of underage people drinking alcohol call us immediately so we can respond and deal with the youngsters.

If you are having problems with off-road vehicles being driven in an illegal or anti-social manner, report it on 101.
