Lincolnshire: More Crimestoppers calls
Public confidence in the charity Crimestoppers continues to grow with a 25 per cent increase in the number of calls in Lincolnshire.
During July Crimestoppers received 75 actionable calls from members of the public anonymously.
From those the police positively dealt with 62 of them, which resulted in 10 people being arrested for offences relating to drug trafficking and supply, fraud, road traffic offences and immigration offences.
Kiran Dhanda, East Midlands regional manager said: “As Crimestoppers celebrates its 25th anniversary we would like more people to have the confidence in calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and give information about crime.”
