Yorkshire rockers the Kaiser Chiefs have announce a date on home soil with a huge outdoor concert at Doncaster Racecourse next summer.

The Leeds-based hitmakers, best known for smash hit tracks such as I Predict A Riot, Everday I Love You Less And Less and Ruby, will appear at Town Moor after racing on June 26 next year.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday.

The venue has been forced to scrap concerts this year because of the coronavirus crisis.

An appearance by 90s Britpop stars Supergrass due to take place in May was scrapped while a show by fellow rock favourites Shed Seven has been rescheduled until later this year, although it may too be axed with racing currently taking place behind closed doors.
