Gainsborough: Man dies in Gate Burton crash

The crash, between a blue Fiat Punto and a Scania artic lorry, happened at around 6.55am on the A156 Gainsborough Road.

The driver of the Punto, believed to be a Gainsborough man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was hurt in the crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have seen the vehicles before, to get in touch as soon as possible.

Witnesses can call Sgt Chris Dennett on 101, quoting incident number 71 of 31st July 31.
