The historic Grade I-listed building will be playing host to a Christmas Craft Fair with plenty of items available for festive gifts.
There will be numerous stalls selling a variety of goods, including toys and seasonal gifts, handmade jewellery, silk flower arrangements and local honey.
Other attractions include a chocolate-only tombola, light refreshments and children’s entertainment.
The Old Rectory is famous throughout the world as the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley, who founded a movement that went on to become the international Methodist Church.
The Christmas Craft Fair is taking place on Saturday, 6th December and will run from 10am until 3pm.
Admission is £1 for adults and children under the age of 12 get in free.
The event is part of an ongoing campaign to raise money in order to restore the Old Rectory – an accredited museum and a registered charity – to how it would have looked when occupied by the Wesley family in the early 18th Century.
