Bawtry: Puppies stolen in burglary

Seven puppies have been stolen during a burlgary at a house near Bawtry.

The Cocker Spaniel puppies, who are only six-weeks-old, were taken from the property on Bawtry Road in Austerfield on Friday 17th May.

There were four black and white coloured dogs, two male and two female, and three chocolate coloured dogs, all male.

Police believe the dogs were taken between 1.30pm and 3.55pm.

Police are urging anyone with any information, or anyone who may have been offered a Cocker Spaniel puppy for sale, to contact them on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 740 of 17/05/2013.
