Bawtry: Motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss backs historic car pageant
British motor racing legend Sir Stirling Moss has given his support to the Respect Carers Awards and Help for Heroes Regional Historic Car Pageant to be held in Bawtry on Sunday, 24th August.
Organisers Gordon Tulley and Richard Fieldson met Sir Stirling and his wife at this year’s Monaco Grand Prix.
After enquiring what we did with our historic cars Stirling Moss agreed to support the event by donating the actual shirts he and his wife were wearing on the day,” said Gordon.
The Bawtry event starts at 10.30am with more than 100 historic cars due to attend.
