Bassetlaw: Northern Rail shortlisted for North of England Excellence awards

The awards highlight their success in customer service and sustainability.

Alex Hynes, managing director of Northern,said: “It’s great to be recognised for the hard work the teams within Northern put in to ensure we deliver a railway the North can be proud of.

“We have worked consistently over the last ten years to become the UK’s most sustainable rail operator and to be short listed for another sustainability accolade certainly puts us up there.”

Winners will be announced on 13th November.
