In some cases, the changes may be just by a few minutes but for other services it may be more, so customers are reminded to check revised timetables before they travel.
Alex Hynes, managing director of Northern Rail, said: “The rail network across the north of England is benefiting from the biggest investment since Victorian times.”
“To help deliver these improvements for the long term, we need to revise the times of some of our local services.”
“So we are asking customers to check times before they travel.”
New timetables can be found at all staffed Northern Rail stations.
