Ambulance driver was punched in the face by attacker

At around 6.40pm on Sunday, September 26, a male ambulance driver was travelling in his vehicle down King Street when he pulled out to overtake a stationary black Range Rover outside the Capri Pizza shop before pulling back in behind a bus.

A man is alleged to have then got out of the Range Rover and punched the ambulance driver in the face while he was sat at the wheel before driving off.

The man is described as white, in his late 50s, of large build, wearing a white shirt with a blue lined pattern on it, clean shaven, and with grey to white coloured hair. His vehicle is described as a black Range Rover Vogue Sport.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Lincs Police, as is anyone who has any information that may be relevant to the enquiry.
