Top films showing at Trinity

MAGICAL movies and fantastic films are heading to Gainsborough’s Trinity Arts Centre in the New Year.

Their new season calendar is bursting with great concerts, comedy, theatre and films - and it all starts in January.

On Friday 6th January they’ll be screening The Help, starring Emma Stone and Viola Davis.

When a Missisipi girl returns from college in the 1960s, she turns her town upside down through a series of revelations about the black women who have spent their lives as servants.

Then on Friday 13th January comes the latest incarnation of kids’ classic The Adventures of Tin Tin, directed by Steven Spielberg - where Tin Tin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship.

Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and Michelle Williams star in My Week With Marilyn on Friday 20th January.

Based on the recollections of an eager young man who became involved with Marilyn Monroe in 1957, this highly-acclaimed comedy drama is said to be a delight from start to finish.
