Kismet are back with Alan Bennett's Talking Heads

The award-winning Kismet Theatre Company return to Gainsborough and Walkeringham next week with a triple bill of Alan Bennett's award-winning Talking Heads.

Originally a series of six TV shorts, Talking Heads featured a host of celebrated actors in a series of bittersweet comic monologues showcasing Bennett’s unique northern humour and wit.

Kismet’s triple bill starts with A Lady Of Letters, originally performed by Patricia Routledge abd performed for Kismet by Gemma Brownson.

Second will be A Chip In The Sugar, which Bennett himself presented originally and will be delivered for Kismet by Jonty Fotheringham .

The triple bill concludes with A Bed Among The Lentils, which originally starred Maggie Smith and is performed for Kismet by Jeanne Bain.

The performance is at Trinity Arts Centre on Wednesday, February 24 at 7.30pm.
