Conductor Andrew Hodkinson and leader Edward Boothroyd put the orchestra through their paces with the stirring Tchaikovsky 4th Symphony with its blazing brass opening.
Julian Clef, who played at The Crossing earlier this year, adds the magnificent piano dimension in the Rachmaninov 2nd Piano Concerto.
The inclusion of Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia makes up the full concert programme.
The concert takes place on Saturday, 11th July at 7.30 (doors open 6.45pm).
