Comedy club is a real Hoot

HOOT Comedy Club returns to Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough, next Thursday with a superb line-up of comedians to tickle your funny bone.

On 9th August, ‘delightfully droll raconteur’ James Cook headlines the popular comedy night.

He has emerged as a sought after performer on both the British comedy circuit as well as appearing in places as far flung as Prague, Bangkok and New York.

Second on the bill is Phil Pagett, who is described by Mock The Week’s Gary Delaney as ‘one of the country’s best new gag writers’.

His bone-dry laconic delivery and pin-sharp one-liners are a twisted joy to behold.

And Dave Law rounds up the line-up with a routine full of improvisation and interaction. Delivered with genuine warmth and charm, he has all the ingredients for a splendid stand-up.

Resident compere Elliot J Huntley will keep the crowd entertained. He manages to charm even the most stoic of audiences with his playful patter and hilariously ribald songs on mandolin.

Doors open 7pm for 8pm start.

Tickets £6 advance / £7 on door. Box office 01427 676655.
