“It is worth investing in good quality locks, and if you see or notice anything suspicious in the area then don’t hesitate to contact the police.”
Police also advise gardeners and shed owners to secure any windows and make sure valuable items are not visible from the outside, if possible, fit an alarm or security lighting, use padlocks and chains to secure high-value items and mark property with a forensic-based kit with your house number and postcode.
