A paralytic woman hurled racial abuse at A Polish woman when she drunkenly banged on her door, mistakenly thinking it was her cousin’s house, a court heard.

Amanda Clarridge had been drinking all day with a friend and had ganged on the door of the address in Model Village, Creswell, on January 3, before pulling down Christmas lights and destroying a festive wreath.

Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court was told on Monday, September 7, that Clarridge, 32, had been homeless at the time of the incident and was “in a bad place” because four of her children had been taken into care.
