Sleeper to play Rock City Nottingham on new tour with guests Turin Brakes
Sleeper have announced their biggest UK tour since reforming, with the band set to take their forthcoming sixth studio album, End of the World, on the road across the UK in March and April next year.
Joining them as special guests will be South London four-piece Turin Brakes and it all kicks off at Rock City in Nottingham on March 12.

End of the World is out on February 12 next year and introduces a new chapter for Sleeper and frontwoman Louise Wener as a songwriter.
She said: “I’m really looking forward to taking this album out on the road.

"These new songs mean a lot to me and I think they’re going to sound fantastic live.
"There’s something wonderful about finally playing them in a room with people and making that emotional connection with a crowd.
"We’re so excited that Turin Brakes are joining us – we’ve been fans for a long time, so it's going to be a special combination.”
Sleeper emerged in the mid-90s, scoring eight top 40 singles across three top 10 albums and selling more than a million records.
They toured to sell-out crowds across the UK, US and Japan, played the main stages at Reading and Glastonbury, toured with Blur and supported R.E.M. at Milton Keynes Bowl, as well as touring the US with Elvis Costello.
They became one of the defining British guitar bands of the 1990s before splitting in 1998.
They re-formed in 2017 and returned with The Modern Age in 2019, their first studio album in more than 20 years, which reached the UK top 20 and was followed by sold-out UK tours and major festival appearances.
Special guests Turin Brakes were founded by childhood friends Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian.
Their 10th studio album, Spacehopper, was released in 2025, adding to a catalogue that includes the Mercury Prize-nominated, gold-certified The Optimist LP and 2003’s top five album Ether Song, which featured the hit single Pain Killer (Summer Rain).
With seven top 40 singles, six top 40 albums and more than a million record sales worldwide, Turin Brakes remain one of the UK’s most enduring alternative bands.
