Trampoline Club off to flying start!

BASSETLAW Trampoline Club has got off to a flying start in 2012, with six podium places at a grading competition in January.

The Worksop-based club took a team of 16 members to Market Harborough in Leicestershire, where the squad gained a fantastic set of results.

In the youngest category of the day, the Under 9 Girls grade I, Reo Saban, 7, finished in third place, and the team of Amber Cook, Kelsie Nash and Saban also took second place.

Keiron Baines took bronze in the Under 11s H category, Hollie Peach performed two oustanding routines to take second and Amie Bowler finished joint third at grade G.

In the under 15 category, in her first grading competition, Lauren Field achieved third place.

Despite a break from competition, Alice Marshall fully deserved her second place in the highest grade of the day.

Other club members in action were Caitlin Tansley, Emma Field, Holly Marshall, Isabella Irons, Jacob Salt, Mia Godley, Nelle Lundy and Tammy Keogh.

Coach Becka Baran described her pride at the way the club members began 2012.

She said: “It was a great way to start the new year.”

“Our club members produced some fantastic routines at the competition and we are all very proud of their achievements and look forward to their success in the future.”

“The club is going from strength to strength and we are now looking to expand to allow more members to be involved in our club.”
